The U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging has released a new brochure aimed at helping older Americans file their 2013 tax returns.
The brochure provides tips on how to complete one’s tax return and how to take advantage of available tax deductions and exemptions.
It also includes a checklist for itemized deductions such as medical and dental expenses; a standard deduction table; and information about how to ask the IRS for help when filing your tax returns.
