Casey, Scott to Hold Hearing on Economic Toll of COVID-19 on Older Workers
On Thursday, April 29, the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging Chairman Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and Ranking Member Tim Scott (R-SC) will hold a hearing entitled, "A Changing Workforce: Supporting Older Workers Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond." The hearing will examine how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected older Americans' employment and financial security and what must be done to help older Americans get back on their feet as the Nation's economy recovers. -
Casey, Scott, Wyden, Crapo Call on Biden Administration to Collect and Release Nursing Home COVID-19 Vaccination Data
U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging Chairman Bob Casey, (D-PA) and Ranking Member Tim Scott (R-SC), along with Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Raking Member Mike Crapo (R-ID) today asked the Biden Administration to collect and make public data on COVID-19 vaccination rates in the Nation's nursing homes at the facility level. -
Casey, Scott to Host Hearing on Health Care Needs for At-Risk Americans Amid Pandemic
On Thursday, March 18, the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging Chairman Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and Ranking Member Tim Scott (R-SC) will hold a hearing entitled, "COVID-19 One Year Later: Addressing Health Care Needs for At-Risk Americans." During the hearing, Senators Casey and Scott will examine how aging Americans most likely to face serious complications and hospitalization from COVID-19, including seniors, people with disabilities and communities of color, are faring one year into the pandemic. -
Chairman Bob Casey and Ranking Member Tim Scott selected for Aging Committee Leadership
Today, U.S. Senators Bob Casey (D-PA), Chairman of the Special Committee on Aging, and Ranking member Tim Scott (R-SC), were selected for leadership positions on the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging for the 117th congressional session.
