Special Committee on Aging examines safety concerns of our most vulnerableU.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL), lead Republican on the U.S. Senate's Special Committee on Aging, will hold a hearing on Wednesday, June 24th, at 10:30 am ET, to discuss the best practices with assisting seniors and those with special needs before, during, and after natural or manmade disasters or public health emergencies. The committee will hear from local, state, and federal witnesses on how to increase the safety of all Americans, especially some of our most vulnerable, through targeted personal and collaborative efforts.
